Geometry Processing Workshop NASAGEM 2013

The first workshop of the CGI2013 conference will deal with

"New Advances in Shape Analysis and Geometric Modeling" (NASAGEM).

The workshop is held for the second time, the first workshop was held on the Cyberworlds 2007. Of special interest will be contributions addressing issues related to characterizing and representing complex geometrical data and shapes by using concepts from computational and differential geometry, differential equations and computational topology.

Topics of Interest

3D data compression including data of geometric objects and voxel data, modern wavelet methods

Conference topics

Papers presenting original research are being sought in all areas of geometry processing and its mathematical foundations, including but not limited to:
Feature Extraction & Classification Multi Resolution Modelling Computational Geometry
Computational Topology Computational Differential Geometry Shape Analysis
Shape Matching Shape Modelling and Representation Shape Retrieval
Shape Compression Mathematical Methods for Geometry Processing Surface and Volume Parameterization
Visualization of dynamical systems for simulations Partial Image and Shape Matching Medial Axis Modeling with Applications

Paper Submission

All accepted submissions will be published as full-length (10-14 pages) papers. The best papers will be invited to be published as an extended version in a special issue of the Visual Computer. Submissions must be prepared using LaTeX2e Macro Package using the provided template.

Paper submission will be handled via EasyChair. Please select the Group "Workshop Geometry Processing" during the submission process.

Note that the review process is double blind, which requires the paper and all supplemental materials to be anonymous. Ensure that self-referencing is anonymous (refer to your full name rather than "I" or "we"). Avoid providing information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments (e.g., co-workers and grant IDs) and in the supplemental material (e.g. titles in the movies, or attached papers). Avoid providing links to websites that identify the authors. Violation of any of these guidelines will lead to rejection without review.
